I am HbsAg +ve. Is it possible to prevent my wife from getting infected?

I am 30 years old and am getting married this month. I am HbsAg +ve. The doctor says that it is in the carrier/chronic state. Is it possible to prevent my wife from getting infected?

    Will my wife conceive a normal baby? What precautions should I take to have a healthy, normal child? My quantitative DNA count is 162 units. I drink and smoke once a week. I am confused. The doctor who has advised you will also tell you whether you should marry, and what your chances of starting a family are. Also, please correct your lifestyle.
