I am 32 years old. I got married nine months ago. I underwent a semen analysis test and found that my sperm count is 9.8 million per ml. Is this sufficient to father a child? What medicines could I take to improve the count?

  1. For better chances of conception, the sperm count should be around 20 million per ml with good motility of sperm. You should consult an andrologist to ascertain why the count is low and whether corrective measures can be taken. In the meantime, take a course of two Addyzoa capsules (Charak) twice a day for at least three months.
